Connecting Education to Practical Life

The CEED Foundation provides professional teacher training to communities where quality education is not available. This is done through a CEED Mentor Teacher Program. The program works by bringing U.S. teachers in to work and learn with local teachers.

A CEED trained administrator provides guidance to teachers in methods that help students analyze issues, solve problems and create solutions for their communities.

Because community families are not able to support the program CEED uses donations to help offset the costs. The CEED Foundations goal is to train local teachers on how to sustain the program within 10 years.
How CEED Helps Needy Community Schools

CEED evaluates the discrepancies between the education provided and the opportunities
for work in a community. With Key citizens help, CEED customizes an educational program that suits the needs of the community. With the approval of the community leaders CEED then brings in a team of educational professionals and academic resources including:

  1. A CEED Team Administrator
  2. An Assistant Administrator
  3. CEED Teachers: 1:12-16 students; depending on the school facility
  4. Training and Professional development for the teachers in differentiated instructions:

  • academic content
  • assessment methods
  • classroom management
  • community awareness & project development

5.The CEED Basics Curriculum:

  • Language Arts
  •
    Mathematics
  • Science and Technology
  • Social Studies including Community Enhancement and the Arts

6.Educational resources and tuition assistance for some of the needier students
